The module allows determining the ratios of specific heats of the air using the method of adiabatic expansion.

Constructively the stand is performed as a basement with a cylindrical tank, an inlet valve, a drain button and a compressor for creating overpressure installed on it. The construction has differential pressure sensors and fittings for pipes. Fittings for connection of pneumatic equipment and differential pressure sensors are envisaged in the construction of the cylindrical tank.
