The experimental unit is designed for determination of the emissivity factor of electroconductive materials using the calorimetric method.

The experimental unit is assembled on the basis of welded metal basement. A hollow hermetic metal body with a heating element inside is installed on the basement. The heating element is located in a hermetic steel body of stainless steel. The gap between the walls of the pipe and the body is filled with running water coming through fittings for quick connections. These couplings provide quick and safe connection of the unit to the stand’s water circuit with forced circulation. The unit is equipped with sensors for measuring input and output temperatures on the outer surface of the pipe.  Wires from the sensors and from the heater are collected into a single cable connected to the control and measuring system of the stand.
