The experimental unit is designed for investigation of heat transfer with forced air flow in the pipe.

The experimental unit is assembled on the basis of welded metal basement with a hollow steel pipe installed on it. A tubular heating element is located inside the pipe. Air flows through the gap between the pipe walls and the heating element. The forced air movement in the pipe is created by a fan unit installed on the right side at the end of the pipe. An air flow sensor is mounted on the left side of the pipe. The unit is equipped with sensors for measuring the temperature on the outer surface of the pipe and on the surface of the heating element. Wires from the sensors and from the heater are collected into a single cable connected to the control and measuring system of the stand.
